Hi, I’m Becky Gosky, and I’m thrilled to finally introduce you to something I’ve been dreaming about, debating, and sketching out on napkins for what feels like forever: Jobity.
If you’ve ever felt the frustration of job hunting or hiring, we have that in common. I’ve been on both sides of the hiring process, and let me tell you—it’s messy, stressful, and often feels like we’re all speaking different languages. So, I created Jobity, an all-in-one hiring platform designed to make this dance between candidates and hiring managers smoother, smarter, and—dare I say it—fun.

The lightbulb moment
A few years ago, I was working in HR, guiding employees on career paths and helping hiring managers navigate the murky waters of recruitment. I loved the work, but I kept noticing the same patterns over and over:

The creative process
When I started designing Jobity, I knew it had to feel human. Hiring is such a deeply personal process, and yet so many platforms are cold, clunky, and transactional. I wanted Jobity to reflect the real people behind every resume and job posting.
I started by jotting down every frustration I’d heard and experienced in my HR career. Then, I reached out to job seekers, hiring managers, and recruiters to ask, “What’s your biggest pain point?” (Spoiler: they had a lot to say.)
From there, I sketched out a vision for an app that would:
It took months of refining, rethinking, and reworking. I’ve laughed, cried, and had more coffee than any human should drink. But now, here we are.
